OCTOBER 25 - DECEMBER 10, 2023

written and performed by Becca Blackwell and Amanda Duarte
directed by Jess Barbagallo
presented by Soho Rep in association with The Bushwick Starr

A hilarious queer spectacle that takes the form of an antic-filled talk show, with a series of special guests, co-hosted by Snatch Adams (played by Becca Blackwell), a six-foot tall vagina who has lost her job at Planned Parenthood, and recently Me-Too’ed comic Tainty McCracken (played by Amanda Duarte). Join us at this original queer spectacle featuring puppets, prizes, and perversity, and celebrate the power and autonomy of loudmouthed vagina people while you still can!

Critics praise SNATCH!

Helen Shaw at The New Yorker says: “electrifying, exuberant, boundary-pushing...magnum o-pussy…directed, thrillingly, by Jess Barbagallo…it’s enough to make you feel reborn”

Sarah Holdren at Vulture says: “Risk. Joy. Discomfort. Experiment. Play…Shows that achieve [all of this] at once are unicorns - but they do exist, and Snatch Adams & Tainty McCracken Present It’s That Time of the Month comes about as close as you can get…a raucous, curious, loving and very literally wet-and-wild cure…It’s a celebration of muchness, of living in a strange, drippy lovable body and sustaining an indefinable spirit – and everyone is invited.”

Christian Lewis at Theatermania says: “educational, entertaining, emotional, ridiculous, and yes, even important.”
